The Hot Mix Five Reunion - House Of Blues - 9/1/07 and 9/2/07
The Hot Mix Five would like to thank those of you attended the shows over the 2007 Labor Day Weekend At Chicago's House Of Blues.
On Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, The originators of the "Mix", the DJs whose foresight on what a DJ should be and the DJs who set the standards that all DJs would follow spun together for the first time since 1985.
The ORIGINAL members were Kenny Jammin' Jason, Scott Smokin' Silz, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Mickey Mixin' Oliver And Ralphi Rosario sold so many tickets that a second night was added.
This is where you'll find the images and video for that event so that (unlike the last 25 years) history won't get buried by some corporate fool who could care less about the heritage and history of radio in our great city.
We are the world's leader for old school and we document our Chicago heritage and history here so no one else can rewrite it, manipulate it or leave any of it out. It's your history, your memories and you're entitled to them.
It's another reason why people choose us over radio and use the net to find what the Mainstream media doesn't offer us.

I WISH IT COULD COME BACK ON MAINSTREAM RADIO ON A REGULAR BASES, SO THESE KIDS TODAY CAN HEAR WHAT REAL MUSIC IS ABOUT!
